LinkedIn Polls are interactive posts that let you ask your audience a question and offer multiple-choice answers. They’re designed to help you gather quick feedback, understand opinions, or spark conversations directly on LinkedIn.

Each poll can include 2 to 4 answer options, and responses are displayed as percentages once users vote. Polls typically run for 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, or 2 weeks, depending on the duration you set.

How to Create a LinkedIn Poll in Assembly

  1. Below the caption editor, click on the Poll icon.

  2. Add your poll question.

  3. Add 2–4 answer options.

  4. Choose the poll duration.

  5. Click on Submit.

Troubleshooting

  • Poll icon isn’t visible
Make sure you’ve selected LinkedIn as your posting platform. The Poll icon only appears when LinkedIn is chosen.

  • Error: “Option too long” or “Question too long”
LinkedIn limits poll questions to 140 characters and each option to about 30 characters. Shorten your text and try again.
