LinkedIn Reposts vs Auto-reposting via auto-engagements
LinkedIn Repost is used for reposting any LinkedIn post from the public LinkedIn feed. Auto-engagements are used for automatically reposting a post drafted through Assembly.

Steps
Click the Repost icon in the formatting bar.
Get the post URL of what you want to repost.
Click on the 3 dots on LinkedIn and choose “Copy Link to Post"
Paste the URL of the LinkedIn Post
Add Post Copy (optional)
Write any post copy to add to the quote repost.
From here you can Schedule or Publish your post as usual.
Troubleshooting
My LinkedIn post link isn’t showing a preview
Make sure the post link you’re using has the visibility option set to “Anyone” instead of “Connections Only” or “Group.”
